It has been announced that North Yorkshire is in Tier 2 after the 2nd December 2020. Unless there are any changes, this is our understanding of what that means to us:
- We can take bookings for household groups from the 3rd December but only if they plan to have a ‘substantial meal’
- We are unable to take bookings for mixed household groups
- We remain closed to those planning to come for drinks only, although we are able to offer takeaway cask ales and wines with our takeaway food
- The regulations on table service, mask wearing whilst away from your table, track & trace, and regular sanitising and hand washing will be the same as prior to the latest lockdown.
Thank you to everyone who has supported our ‘At Home’ launch this month – the feedback from you all has been amazing and we anticipate carrying this service on long after the lockdown restrictions are lifted. The menu may change dependent on availability and the volume of in-house bookings, any changes will be communicated on both the website and on our Facebook page.
Our Christmas menu will be announced shortly. We are as yet unsure what the ‘bubble’ for the festive five days means in terms of hospitality, so watch this space as we seek further clarification. In the meantime, we will only be taking bookings for single households over the Christmas period.
Thanks again for all your support and patience
